High End Munich 2018 Report

The Munich High End Expo showcases the very finest high-end hi-fi and home audio kit. We (the team at Meters) were exhilarated to be able to debut our latest creations in consumer audio, with the support of our German distributor, Sieveking Sound.

Dan, Chris and Hannah from Meters Music were delighted to stand amongst 500 exhibitors over the three-day event. Now in its 37th year, the show took place over 11th to 13th May and is one of the most important events for professionals in the hi-fi industry, with the first day of the expo exclusively reserved for trade visitors and media from all over the world.

We were particularly proud to officially launch the Meters Precision Audio Systems, which allow music lovers to “experience the sound of the stage” in the comfort of their living room. With a heritage in manufacturing guitar and bass amplification for some the world’s greatest bands and musicians, The Meters MPAS  range encapsulates an acoustic expertise like no other – all-the-while streamed wirelessly to any room of your home via Bluetooth.

It was great to have our very own Hannah, Liaison at Meters Music (and model to Meters OV-1 headphones) included in High End Society’s Facebook post celebrating women of consumer electronics industry – a place commonly over-burdened by techy men. We like to break the mould!

“The fact that more and more women are also interested in high-quality consumer electronics was once again evident at this year's #HighEnd2018. The prejudice that our audio fair would be an event exclusively for technology-affine men, we would like to clear up once and for all.”

So, “cheers” to the women of the consumer electronics industry and cheers to High End Music for a fantastic show. Lastly another special thanks to our German distributor, Sieveking Sound.
